Annual Winter Art Show Returns to Glenn Eure Ghost Fleet Art Gallery
Dare County Schools invites the public to view the creative talents of K-12 art students at the district’s Annual Winter Art Show at Glenn Eure Ghost Fleet Art Gallery.
A special opening reception will take place Jan. 10 from 1-3 p.m.
The exhibition will run from Jan. 12-23, with gallery hours from 3-6 p.m., Monday through Friday. The gallery will be closed Jan. 19 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The opening reception and art show are free and open to the public.
The show will feature an impressive variety of artistic mediums and materials. This annual exhibition provides students with the opportunity to explore new techniques, share their creativity, and showcase the skills they’ve developed throughout the year.
Hosted at the Glenn Eure Ghost Fleet Gallery in Nags Head, N.C., Dare County Schools Annual Winter Art Show honors the gallery’s long-standing tradition of celebrating the arts. Now in its 45th year, the gallery continues to inspire the community, carrying on the legacy of the late Glenn Eure, who dedicated his life to creating and promoting the arts. His wife, Pat Eure, remains committed to encouraging emerging artists and supporting events like the Dare County Schools Art Show.
